Supporting Women's Micro-Enterprises in Nigeria

$200 will fund one tablet for one woman so they can learn the skills to start their own micro-enterprises.

At the Abuja Summer Institute, 30 young women will learn entrepreneurial skills, video production, and graphic design to develop their own micro-enterprises. Through ASI, young women will produce content and products to start and manage their enterprises as well as develop the skills to sustain them. 

Our team specializes in using technology as a tool for justice and have been collaborating all year with our partners in Nigeria and Washington, D.C. to better understand the labor market and design the most effective institute for the young women.

We have already raised funding to provide transportation and housing for 30 Northern women to travel to Abuja as well as travel costs and housing for our team.  We are asking for your support so the women who attend the Abuja Summer Institute can continue managing their enterprises and developing their skills after the institute.
