Here is a snapshot view of what we see while performing the benthic surveys! Kelp forests are incredibly biodiverse - how many different species of invertebrates and algae can you spot?!
Hi everyone, thank you so much for contributing and showing interest in our project! This past week we did PISCO field training to help us spot some of those cryptic critters that call the kelp forest home. Swing by our Facebook page in the next couple of days as we post some photos of the amazing marine life we've been seeing right here in Monterey bay. We have an exciting field season ahead and we hope your excited too!
