Hey Everyone,
We would like to invite you to the 2017 Alumni Regatta and Barbecue! The event will be split into two parts, both of which will be held on Sunday, June 4th.
Part I: Racing
Alumni wishing to sail in the regatta will meet at the UCSC Boating Center Dock at 1200 where skipper and crew pairs will be established. CFJ's will be sailed and racing will take place outside the harbor. Registration for Part I is $20 per sailor, and includes BBQ dinner following the races.
Part II: Barbecue
After races finish, a BBQ will be held in the lower room of the Santa Cruz Yacht Club. Food will be available for $10 a plate, and beverages will be available for purchase from SCYC.
Please RSVP if you plan on attending either event.

Our new boat has arrived and it is ready for the 2016-2017 regatta season. Thank you so much to all of our kind donors who helped us reach our goal! Also a huge thank you to the UCSC Crowdfunding department for helping facilitating the largest fundraising campaign the sailing team has ever done.
Hey y'all,
Thanks again for all the support that has helped us achieve a new boat! We have ordered the boat and it is on its way to UCSC this very moment. We will be sending out the team photos shortly, and will be able to get some shots of us shredding with the new boat. We're expecting delivery to be sometime in march which gives us plenty of time to practice for PCC's with it.

With 10 days left to go we are nearly at our goal!! We would like to thank all of our donors for making this possible and for helping us get a new boat. With our progress so far and 10 days still left in our campaign, we would like to set a stretch goal of $12,500. If we reach our stretch goal we can purchase a new race boat and a used boat to replace one of our old practice boats. We could not have done this without all of your donations and are excited to push towards this new goal. Here is a picture from a recent sunset practice.

As of 2 o'clock on Saturday November 21st we have achieved sixty four percent of our goal! This is smashing even our wildest expectations. We would like to thank all of our awesome donors for their contributions. Broken at a heavy wind practice, this donor level will provide a new boom for our disabled boat. This unique perk comes with a piece of the broken boom mounted on a plaque, with special thanks from the whole team. While supplies last!
At this level you will get to come sailing with the team at practice, and get a personalized lesson from a team member of your choosing. The team will contact you about scheduling a time for the lesson.
This is one of the top level perks. This donor will get: Their name on the donor list, personalized shoutout on the Facebook page, a mystery gift from the team, handwritten thank you letter signed by the whole team, a personal sailing lesson with the team
If you a generous enough to provide this level donation you will receive everything in the full package, as well as the naming rights to our new boat! It can be whatever you want! You also get to be present at the naming ceremony with the team!
At this level you are the ultimate donor! With this donation you will receive everything from the full package plus: a sweatshirt, naming rights to a new boat, an open invitation to any UCSC sailing team event. This includes practices, regattas, the alumni regatta and any other UCSC team activities
